a. Without cropping anything, size the photo so it can be reproduced two columns (25 picas) wide. Specify the depth and the percentage of reproduction.
b. Crop and size the photo so the piece of sculpture alone will be published in a space two columns wide by 46 picas deep. Don't forget to mark the margins for cropping. Specify the size of the original, as cropped, and the percentage of reproduction.
