10. Peewee baseball magazine layout. Use the same pictures, caption information and copy length to lay out a double-page spread for a magazine published by the city recreation department. The printed page is 6-1/2 x 9 inches. Use the grid sheet furnished here or one that your instructor provides, or use a computer layout program. The story is 8 column inches long when set in a column 12 picas wide. The grid sheet is divided into 3 columns, each 12 picas wide with a 1-1/2-pica (1 pica, 6 points) gutter. Or you may use a 2-column format with each column 18.9 (18 picas, 9 points) wide with a 1-1/2-pica gutter.
