Exercises 4-5
4. Prepare a flier about an upcoming event for an organization of which you are a member. The event will be in the Student Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 15. Refreshments will be provided by the organization.
Write the headline and body copy about the event and, if you plan to use art, provide a complete written description of the artwork. Then copy the layout of the flier onto a dummy sheet or provide a printed layout you developed using a software program.
5. Select four brochures that you have seen in your community. Include brochures with different formats, from pamphlets with two folds that were produced from letter-sized paper, to a brochure with three or four folds produced from legal-sized paper, to a booklet containing six to eight pages.
