Chapter 22: Writing Reader-Centered Proposals
Extra Case Online 22.1

This case asks you to write a proposal.

The Case: Proposal

Students should identify a problem. This problem can originate in an organization in which they are a member, or it can be a policy at their academic institution which they believe should be altered, or it can be any other situation for which they believe they can propose a solution.

Students should then write a proposal, paying close attention to the superstructure of proposals discussed in Chapter 22.

It might be helpful for students to use the Superstructure Worksheet to help organize their writing.
