The goal of this exercise is to help you explore ways that your values could influence the way you write in your career.
The Exercise
Read "Communicating Ethically" on page 19-21 in the text. Then take the first step in bringing your personal values to your on-the-job writing by creating a list of those values. Make some notes to indicate how each value might influence the writing you do in your career. Be prepared to share your findings with the class. An example is provided.
