The sample documents at this website illustrate ways that writers have used the advice in this and other chapters to create reader-centered communications. Some sample documents are annotated with notes that reflect the writer's reader-centered thinking process.

Sample documents identified as "Scenario Documents" belong to a set of twenty-two samples that comprise a fictitious case. It involves the process of deciding whether to establish an on-site day care center at Printers Ink, Incorporated (PII), a small printing company located in Makanda, Illinois .
