ON-SITE DAY CARE CENTER

Should Printers Ink establish an on-site day care center? Why or why not? [3]

Would you consider enrolling your pre-school-aged children in day care on-site? If yes, how many? If not, why not?

WORKSHARE PROGRAM

A workshare program provides an opportunity for employees to share a job or position in a company. A workshare program at Printers Ink, Incorporated would allow employees who wish to work only a half day to share their job with another person wanting to work only a half day. Some personnel may wish to work a half day on their regular job and a half day in the day care center. [4]

Would you be interested in participating in a workshare program? Why or why not?

Would you be interested in working part time in the on-site day care center as part of your job (that is, you would work half the day on your regular job and half the day in the center)?

[1] Jane repeats the crucial aspects of the directions.

[2] Jane capitalizes and underlines the various headings to help responders quickly review the main topics or groups of questions.

[3] Open-ended questions allow participants to respond in their own words.

[4] Jane believes that a workshare program would make staffing the center easier and more economical, but she needs to find out if any employees are interested.  To do that, however, she must first explain what she means.
