The information provided in this handbook will help you find answers to your questions about grammar, mechanics, and documentation. The handbook gives you several ways to find information:
- Choose a specific topic from the drop-down menus available at the top
of each page.

from the right menu).
- Look up common problems in our Writing FAQ (Frequently
Asked Questions) section if you're not sure
which topic area addresses your concerns (available from the right menu).
- Match editing marks on your papers to their descriptions
