Why do you think the FBI was so sure that information had been leaked to Russia? Why is the Rosenberg case considered a Civil Liberties or civil rights case in United States history? If you were living in the U.S. during this heightened Cold War tension, and learned through the public media of the Rosenberg's espionage conviction, what do you think your reaction would have been? Why is it of interest that the Rosenbergs were "foreign-born American citizens," as the film points out? Do you think people then found it shocking that a husband and wife were involved in such high-level espionage?
