COTTON MILL at PATERSON, N.J. FOR SALE
The extensive Cotton and Paper Mills at Paterson, New Jersey, (about 16 miles from the city of New York,) known by the name of the Essex Factory. In the Cotton Mill there are 2000 spindles, with very full preparation, and all in fine order. The Paper Mill has a separate wheel, and is admirably adapted for power looms. This lot presents a front to mill street of 150 feet and runs back to the main canal 180 feet. The cotton mill, which has 12 mine throstles and 3 excellent mules, is capable of containing 20 throstles of 108 spindles each, and 9 mules of 216 spindles each; the building, which is considered to be of the finest arrangement for spinning, may be conveniently and cheaply extended so to contain double, or even five times this quantity of machinery; and the mill, called the paper mill, may be proportionably enlarged, for looms, at a moderate expense. The provision for water power extends to any quantity that can, by possibility be used upon the Essex lot. A considerable proportion of the purchase money may, if required, remain for a number of years on mortgage. Application to be made personally, or by letter to T. B. WAKEMAN & CO. New York.

CORSET WAREHOUSE
Mrs. Weathersby, long-strap and corset maker, 390 1-2 Broadway, respectfully apprizes the ladies of New York and is vicinity, that she has just received by the last arrivals from London a great variety of the most fashionable and improved patterns in the above line. She invites the ladies to call and inspect the Duchess of Oldenburg's Corsets, anteverter and belt pattern, being an entire new invention, which have received the sanction of females of the highest respectability as the ne plus ultra of ease and elegance; and have also the advantage of being recommended by the most eminent of the faculty, as highly conducive to health. It is now an axiom, that the utmost precaution is necessary in this ornamental and useful part of dress: and Mrs. W. can confidently offer her Corsets, as an assortment (procured at great expense) combining all the modern improvements as respects health and symmetry of form.
