    American Counseling Association
    A not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. Founded in 1952, the ACA is the world's largest association exclusively representing professional counselors.

    American Psychological Association
    Located in Washington DC, the APA is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States and is the world's largest association of psychologists. APA's membership includes more than 155,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants, and students. Through its divisions in 50 subfields of psychology and affiliations with 59 state, territorial and Canadian provincial associations, APA works to advance psychology as a science, as a profession and as a means of promoting human welfare.

    Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Programs
    Provides ideas about information technology and social work education.

    Council on Social Work Education
    Provides national leadership and a forum for collective action designed to ensure the preparation of competent social work professionals.

    National Organization for Human Service Education
    Unites educators, students, practitioners, and clients in a conversation about the preparation of effective human service workers.

    National Association of Social Work
    Consists of psychotherapists, self-employed private practitioners, gerontology specialists, university deans, hospital directors, agency executives, and employee assistance supervisors.

    American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
    The professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy, comprised of marriage and family therapists (MFTs) from the United States, Canada, and abroad.
