Active Listening Tools

A set of interactive software modules for Windows and Macintosh computers that develops students' music listening skills. Active Listening Tools features full-color listening guides for every selection in the Listening to Music 2-CD and 6-CD sets. The Elements of Music tutorial and quizzes utilize the textbook's Intro CD. Active Listening Tools' new Musical Style Quizzes improve listening and critical thinking skills as students identify musical elements that reveal a piece's style period, composer, and genre.
