Find an interest group that supports a cause of great interest to you. The Web site "Political Advocacy Groups" at
http://www.csuchico.edu/~kcfount/index.html
contains a large listing of various groups organized by category.
1. What does the group do? How does it attempt to affect public policy? How does it seek to influence public opinion?
2. What benefits does it provide to members?
3. How can you join?
4. In what ways can you help the group achieve its goals?
If you would like to email your responses to your professor, fill out the boxes below, then click the
