Geography question:
How far (approximately) is it from French Guiana to Uruguay? How far from the Andes mountains to the Atlantic Ocean at the latitude of Brasilia?
Write two hypotheses: the first one about why the size of Brazil is an asset to the state; the second about why the size of the country is a liability to the state. Briefly explain the reasoning upon which you based your hypotheses.
Demographics question:
How many billion kilowatt hours of electricity was produced in Brazil in the most recent year displayed? How many billion kilowatt hours of electricity was consumed?
Briefly explain how that situation burdened or benefited the Brazilian state. Describe an energy policy the Brazilian government is likely to pursue.
Comparison question:
Describe how the total population and the age structure of the population of Brazil compares to that of the USA. Write a short speculative essay about the relationship between those data and the political cultures of Brazil and the USA.
