Observe the location of Germany within Europe. How many countries have common borders with Germany? Write a brief speculative essay about the effects of this situation on the political culture in Germany. Explain the reasoning upon which you based your speculation.
Demographics question:
Note the age structure and the population growth rate of Germany. Make a hypothesis based on those data about the future of German political parties. Explain the reasoning that provided the basis for your hypothesis.
Comparison question:
What is the ethnic composition of the German population? What is the ethnic composition of the population in the USA?
