Chemical and Biological Weapons
In the post-September 11 environment, chemical and biological weapons have received increased attention. President George W. Bush argued in favor of invading Iraq in part because of accusations that its leader Saddam Hussein had a stockpile of both types of weapons. What are the principal concerns about chemical and biological weapons? What international efforts have already been made to control them? What has been proposed for the future?
