Careers

Political science is a very broad discipline. In its publication titled Careers and the Study of Political Science, the American Political Science Association lists several categories of jobs available to those who have studied political science. Career opportunities are available in law, in government service (both state and local), with private interest groups and associations, with business organizations, with campaign management and political polling, and in journalism. If you are interested in obtaining more information about specific careers in political science, you can order a copy of APSA's publication directly from their website, or you may be able to find it in your college library.
