What did they find?
A recent meta-analysis that reviewed the 133 studies of conformity published since the 1955 article was identified. This was a gold mine for the students. Not only did they have a summary of the literature, it critically reviewed the methods used by the different authors. This meta-analysis did not appear on the original searches because it was too old to be included in an electronic journal and was so far down on the list of 6,204 abstracts that the students gave up before they got to it.
